Goldfish and the Resolution Protocol — licensing

This repository uses three open licences, chosen by what each file is.

  Code — Apache License 2.0 (LICENSES/Apache-2.0.txt), SPDX: Apache-2.0
    protocol/python/, protocol/js/, protocol/tools/
    v01/firmware/, v01/cad/*.py, v01/sim/*.py, v01/validate.py
    site/*.py and the scripts inside site/ and v01/reader/
    Source files carry an "SPDX-License-Identifier: Apache-2.0" line.

  Hardware design files — CERN Open Hardware Licence v2, Permissive
  (LICENSES/CERN-OHL-P-2.0.txt), SPDX: CERN-OHL-P-2.0
    The enclosure and the parts it generates: v01/cad/out_pebble/ (STEP, STL),
    v01/cad/print_spec.json, v01/cad/pebble_spec.json, v01/bom.csv,
    v01/wiring.md, v01/assembly.md, v01/sim/design.json.
    The CAD scripts that generate them are code (Apache-2.0); their outputs
    are hardware design files under CERN-OHL-P-2.0.

  Specification, documentation and data — Creative Commons Attribution 4.0
  International (LICENSES/CC-BY-4.0.txt), SPDX: CC-BY-4.0
    protocol/SPEC.md, protocol/README.md, protocol/research/,
    protocol/locales/, protocol/schemas/, protocol/vectors/,
    v01/profile/, and every other document (*.md) not listed above.
    Attribute as: "Resolution Protocol / Goldfish, by the Goldfish authors".

Third-party material keeps its own licence: vendor 3D models in
v01/cad/vendor/ (see v01/cad/vendor/models/manifest.json), and the quotations
in 00-sources/, which are reproduced for reference and belong to their authors.

Anyone may implement the Resolution Protocol, in any product, open or closed,
without asking. The vectors in protocol/vectors/ are the test of conformance.
